By accessing or using MatchPrep ("the Service"), including our website at matchprep.org and the MatchPrep application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MatchPrep.
MatchPrep is a competition shooting training application that provides structured training sessions, drill libraries, scoring tools, progress tracking, shot timer integration, and related features for competitive shooters in USPSA, IDPA, IPSC, and PCSL disciplines. The Service is available as a progressive web application (PWA) accessible through web browsers and installable on mobile devices.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including any two-factor authentication backup codes, and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
MatchPrep offers both free and paid subscription plans. The free plan provides access to basic features. The Pro plan provides access to advanced features including unlimited cloud sync, AI-powered recommendations, advanced analytics, and priority support.
Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 30-day free trial. During the trial period, you will have full access to Elite features at no charge. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires.
Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the plan you select. Prices are listed in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize MatchPrep to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
One-Time Purchases: Purchases of training add-ons and content packs are non-refundable once the digital content has been delivered and accessed. If you experience technical issues preventing access to purchased content, contact us for assistance.
Refund Policy: Refund requests for subscriptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of the initial purchase. Contact [email protected] for refund inquiries.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to MatchPrep, including training data, scores, videos, custom drills, and profile information ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant MatchPrep a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the right to upload and share any content you provide through the Service.
When you share drills to the MatchPrep community library, you grant other users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, and incorporate those drills into their training sessions. You may remove your shared drills at any time, but copies already saved by other users will remain accessible.
The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by MatchPrep and protected by intellectual property laws. The MatchPrep name, logo, and branding are trademarks of MatchPrep. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MATCHPREP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Always follow all applicable firearms safety laws and regulations. MatchPrep is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from firearms use or training activities.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATCHPREP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. MATCHPREP'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MatchPrep and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may export your data before termination using the export features available in the app settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless you opt out within 30 days of account creation by notifying us in writing.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
